Learning, Again
I gave myself a little star,
I thought I’d come so very far.
Then life came in with tea and pen
And said, “Sweet thing, begin again.”
Oh, I’m learning again,
Round the spiral, round the bend.
I thought I knew, then knew anew—
How funny. How beautiful. How true.
I packed the lesson on a shelf,
Then found it sitting in myself.
It waved at me like an old friend:
“Surprise, my dear. We meet again.”
Oh, I’m learning again,
Round the spiral, round the bend.
I thought I knew, then knew anew—
How funny. How beautiful. How true.

Elsewhere in the Studio
Kirenya is a creative studio weaving fiction, nonfiction, frameworks, visual works, and hybrid pieces that move between dream, structure, and signal. Across pen names, I explore layered meaning through stories, essays, systems, and experimental dispatches.
