Continuity Registrar — A specialized professional who certifies the ongoing legal, civic, and institutional continuity of persons, agreements, offices, and organizations across radical changes in body, memory, geography, governance, and time. The role emerged when rapid transformation in human identity, institutional form, and social duration made continuity difficult to prove and increasingly central to law, governance, and collective trust.
Key responsibilities include validating continuity claims, updating civil and legal records, preserving contractual intelligibility across transformation, certifying succession and transformation events, and maintaining social legibility in worlds where change outpaces inherited record systems.
